In 2008, Tai Ping Carpets and Edward Fields Carpet Makers opened their unique showroom with two brands sharing one space. The stand-alone Edward Fields Studio is embedded within a larger Tai Ping showroom, providing the Bay Area design community with an exciting new resource for luxury custom carpets and rugs. Tai Ping, an international company with ateliers worldwide, releases several couture carpet collections every year. This showroom represents the company's debut in the San Francisco market. Edward Fields, an icon of the American design scene, has been known for decades as the source for the finest bespoke carpets and after over 70 years in business, has recently re-entered the market with a new brand identity and product line.
